Starkville, MS (November 23, 2021) – At 12:20 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, November 21, a car accident with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened on East Lampkin Street around the area of the Butler Williams Alumni Police Station. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
