Vicksburg, MS – Two-Car Accident Takes One Life on US-61 N near Alexander Rd

Vicksburg, MS (April 11, 2023) – Police officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol are currently investigating a car accident that took one person’s life in Warren County. Reports show the incident happened at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, for reasons still being investigated. 

MHP reports the fatal incident happened in the northbound lanes of US-61 near Alexander Road. A 2010 Honda Accord driven by Andreanna Robinson, 23, of Vicksburg, was headed south in the northbound lane when it collided with Daniel Roach, 26, also of Vicksburg. 

Roach was driving a 2009 H3 Hummer at the time of the accident. He sustained unknown injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Robinson was fatally injured in the accident and pronounced deceased on-site.
