Itawamba County, MS (May 1, 2023) – A serious car crash was reported to officials in Itawamba County on the afternoon of May 1. Crews were sent to the scene shortly after the incident occurred in order to help those involved. 

Sources say the collision occurred on Interstate 22 past Mississippi 178 near the Peppertown Exit. Two or more cars collided for reasons still under local law enforcement investigation.
