Mississippi Traffic Accidents

Ramone Jackson, Shelby Rae Kevwitch Killed in Accident on Hwy 43

Hundreds of individuals lose their lives in fatal collisions in Mississippi each year. In 2017, nearly 700 people lost their lives in deadly crashes throughout the Magnolia State. These collisions happen under a plethora of different circumstances, however, the majority are caused by negligent driving.

Throughout the country, negligent driving has been on the rise, specifically in the past decade. Drivers who are distracted by their cell phones are the most common types of negligent drivers seen on American roadways today. The fact is, looking down at your phone for a mere five seconds while traveling 55 miles per hour is equivalent to traveling the length of two football fields with your eyes closed. This is extremely dangerous and could even be deadly for you and everyone you encounter on the road, as well as those who are inside your vehicle with you.

Fatal traffic accidents happen constantly in the US, taking over 40,000 lives per year. Sadly, most of the accidents that end in death are the result of negligent driving. Losing someone you love can be one of the most devastating events you ever experience. Depending on the circumstances of their accident, you may want to hire a wrongful death lawyer who can help you recover financially after their crash.

Having the help of a car crash lawyer on your side can make sure that your legal rights and options are exercised to their fullest extent.
