Walthall County, MS (February 27, 2024) – A woman lost her life in a fatal traffic accident in Walthall County. The wreck happened at approximately 5:21 p.m. on Monday, February 26. Deyona James was traveling south on Highway 98 near Dillon Hill Road when she was involved in a collision with a 2007 Western Star dump truck. She was fatally injured in the collision and pronounced deceased on-site.
